Biography

Brad Pitt was born on December 13th, 1963 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. His parents, William and Jane, moved to Springfield, Missouri soon after he was born. Brad was an engaged student with interests in sports, music, debate and student government and majored in Journalism at the University of Missouri. While in college he decided to drop out to pursue acting and was two credits shy of graduating and the rest was history from that point on.

As with most budding actors in hollywood Pitt had to support himself with a number of odd jobs and wored as a chauffeur, moved furniture and was even dressed as a mascot for the restaurant chain El Pollo Loco. He got his start with small parts in popular TV series like Dallas, Thirtysomething, 21 Jump Street, Freddy's Nightmares, Another World, Growing Pains and Head of the Class. Brad's first big break came when he landed a part in Thelma and Louise. He plays a young man who has a one night stand with Thelma with experience and advice for robbing 7-Eleven stores. From there his career took off with roles in A River Runs Through It, Legends of the Fall and Se7en. Brad was nominated for and Academy Award for his performance in Twelve Monkeys (1995)

Since then he has starred in numerous other movies most notable of which are Fight Club and Mr and Mrs. Smith. It was on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith that he became romantically involved with Angelina Jolie.

Brad has been romantically linked to a number of gorgeous women around the world. He dated involved in a long-term relationship with actress Gwyneth Paltrow but they broke up in 1997 after a brief engagement. Pitt married Friends actress Jennifer Aniston 2000. They were married for a while and hailed as one of Hollywood's golden couples until their divorce in 2005. Citing person irreconilable differences the couple split after five years of marriage under much media scrutiny. This occurred during a time when there was speculation about a budding romance between Brad and Angelina Jolie. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie began dating publicly after his divorce. Brad's relationship with Jolie was intense, he eventually adopted Angelina's two children and had a baby of his own with the actress.
