Biography

Ashley Judd was born on April 19, 1968 is the daughter of Naomi Judd, the country music singer. Ashley hails from a talented family, her sister is also a well known country music singer. The success she enjoys now is far from the humble beginnings that she grew up in. Her parents divorced when she was young and she, her mother and sister moved to Kentucky and they were poor. Ashley Judd was raised a Baptist and her mother insisted that she do well in school and go to college. She went to college at the University of Kentucky but dropped out to persue acting. Curiously one of her first breaks came from playing a star fleet agent in two 1991 episodes of Star Trek

She is best know for her work in the 1990s doing notable films such as, Natural Born Killers, Heat, Kiss of the Girls and Double Jeapordy.

Romantically Ashley Judd has been linked to Brady Anderson,Lyle Lovett, Michael Bolton, and Matthew McConaughey. She is currently married to Dario Franchitti an international race car driver.
