Biography

Kirsten Dunst was born on April 30, 1982 in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. She is part German and part Swedish. Kirsten started her acting career early on as a child appearing in tv commercials. Her film debut came in New York Stories and first big break really came with her follow up role in The Bonfire of the Vanities starring along side Tom Hanks's.

Kirsten became an overnight sensation with her work in Interview with the Vampire starring Antonio Banderas, Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, and Christian Slater. This film is noteworth in that Kirsten had a scene where she had to kiss Brad Pitt. When asked about what that was like later on in her careers she admitted that it was gross to have to kiss a guy. Kirsten moved on with roles in several small films and is most famous for her role as the love interest of Peter Parker, Mary Jane Watson, in the billion-dollar Spider-Man franchise.
