X-Men: The Last Stand Movie Summary

Movie Summary

In X-MEN: THE LAST STAND, the final chapter features the plot line from the Dark Phoenix Saga. Jean Grey has become reborn from as the Dark Pheonix from her death with awesome powers greater than that of Charles Xavier or Magneto. With no control of her new strength, Jean is a threat to herself, her loved ones and the world. While the X-Men battle to save Jean the government has created a "cure" to suppress the mutant gene permanantly and render powerless the mutants of this world. When dealt with this new threat the all mutants take sides and come to odds as to how to respond and a battle ensues between these mutant factions. The last stand brings a suspenseful end to this trilogy.
