Jennifer Lynn Lopez was born on July 24, 1969 in New York. Her parents
are from Puerto Rico and the immigrated to the Bronx when they came to
America. Jennifer's careers started out in dance where she trained and
performed professionally. Her first work in entertainment came as
being a backup dancer for various music artists and Jennifer made
appearances in several music videos. Her first big break came as being
a Fly Girl in the TV comedy hit, In Living Color. Jennifer Lopez
gained attention and publicity because of that role.
After the show ended she got roles in movies such as Money Train,
Anaconda and Jack. Jennifer received critical acclaim portraying
Selena Quintanilla Perez in the film Selena. From there she went on to
fame and stardom. Lopez quickly filmed Out of Site, The Cell, Enough,
Wedding planner, Jersey Girl, Gigli,

selling music artist. Her album On the 6 was a multi-platnium record
and made her a diva overnight. Lopez is also a smart business women

Jennifer Lopez has been linked romantically to several people the most
prominent of whom are Jean Puffy Combs and Ben Affleck, both of which
were highly publicized relationships. Jean Combs and Jennifer met
while producing On the 6 but they broke up after an incident where
Jean Combs was indited for illegal gun possion. It was rumored that
the negative publicity that the incident cast on Jennifer was what
caused her to break up with Jean Combs. Jennifer then married dancer
Chris Judd but the marriage lasted 6 months. She went on to date actor
Ben Affleck and they were collectively know as "Bennifer." "Bennifer"
was engaged to be married but the wedding was cancelled and Jennifer
Lopez and Ben Affleck broke up shortly after. Jennifer is now married
to Latin crooner Marc Anthony.
